With an active membership concentrated primarily in and around the New Albany, Jeffersonville and Clarksville areas, we try to have a presence at as many nearby events as possible. Wearing HCHP Tee shirts and displaying signs promoting HR 676 and Single-Payer, members hand out pamphlets, petitions and informational flyers educating as many as our small numbers allow about the ravages of our present disfunctional health care system.

Congressman Baron Hill (D, 9th Dist.) is targeted as we enlist the efforts of any and all who are interested in remedying this problem

The SEIndianaHCHP volunteers meet on the third Saturday of each month in Jeffersonville, at the Public Library, 211 East Court Ave. at 10 AM. Join us. We also work closely with KSPH, Kentuckians for Single Payer Healthcare,(www.kyhealthcare.org/) sharing members and supporting each other in all activities.

Mission: Hoosiers for a Commonsense Health Plan is a group of Indiana citizens who support a publicly financed, privately delivered (single payer) universal health plan at the state and national level. HCHP is working to educate the public and the legislature about the benefits of a single payer plan. We are seeking individuals and groups who have an interest in helping achieve this goal.
